They didn’t seal my basement foundation to the slab and now my radon fan causes a negative pressure in our home. The basement walls are 8” thick. To seal, I have to open them removing the solid foam and cellulose insulation, then put it all back.
Is there an easy and proper way to do this? Is spray foam good enough to stop radon and negative pressure? A national radon inspector (Certifier of jobs) said that is the way I needed to do it. Just checking.
