Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This 1922 advertisement for the patent medicine "S.S.S." (intended to make users fat) asks if non-users can "see (their own) ribs", implying that anyone who does not use S.S.S. will be malnourished. To illustrate this, they show a disembodied human head and a fleshless ribcage.
