You should first keep in mind that images and media must be licensed under a
free content license of some kind. Acceptable licenses are discussed at
<http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Licensing>; images and media
without source information or clear license status will be deleted. 

To upload a picture:

1. Login (or create a username if you don't have one)
2. Click on "upload file" in the sidebar
(http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Upload)
3. Select the file from your computer that you want to upload
4. Select a descriptive name for the image
5. Select the appropriate license for the file


To add the picture to a page:

1. Edit the page you want the image to appear on, and include in the place you
want the image to appear:

[[Image:(Filename you chose in step 4).(extension of file, case
sensitive)|thumb|Caption text]]

2. Save the page with an edit summary that describes what you did (eg. "added
image")

Monuments of Wuppertal

Hello Atamari, Just give me more time. I am reorganising Categories:Sculptures/Statues/Memorials/Monuments in Germany(in Städte und Bundesländer). Die meiste Kategorien sind ëin bisschen durcheinander im Laufe der Zeit. Heute fand ich Wuppertal und ich reorganisiere in den kommenden Tage noch etwas weiter. Danke für dein Verständnis. Nein, ich komme ich noch nicht zurecht. Die Category:Monuments of Wuppertal ist nicht mehr da und einige Kategorien (Category:Doors in Wuppertal, Category:Plaques in Wuppertal und Category:Sculptures in Wuppertal) hängen lieblos in der Hauptkategorie.

Dabei ist doech Plaques eine Unterkategorie von Category:Memorials by Object. Natürlich sind das nicht alle Bilder von Skulpturen in einer Großstadt ich glaube nur die Kirchen Wuppertal sind vollständig. --Atamari 10:11, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Atamari, dass tut mit leid.

Ertstens, Memorials oder Monuments, da gibt es nicht viel Unterschied aber umgekehrt sind nicht alle Memorials Monunumente. In Deutschland sind die meiste Städte und Länder jetzt mit Memorials gelinked und überhaupt nich mit Monuments (Die erste Änderung war schon: nicht mehr Monuments of ..., aber Monuments in ...) und dann weiter mit Memorials in Deutschland und Memorials by country. Weil noch so viele andere Länder noch von Monuments reden, bleit eine Verbindung mit Monuments by country noch bestehen. Zweitens, was "doors", "plaques" und "sculptures" betrifft: jetzt Lieblos(??) in der Hauptkategorie Wuppertal. Die können wir als Kompromis doch in der Kategorie "Culture in Wuppertal" unterordnen? Das letzte was ich will ist meine eigene Meinung durchsetzen. Bitte gib mir deine Reaktion. Grüsse--Gerardus 13:05, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Also, noch mal Zusamenfassend und eine Begriffsbestimmung:

• "Sculptures" sind alle Objekte die einfach in der Gegend herum stehen ;-)
  • "Memorials" sind die "Sculptures" (also Unterkategorie), die an eine Person oder an ein Ereignis erinnern.
  • "Reliefs" sind die "Sculptures" (also Unterkategorie), die die Eigenschaft eines Reliefs haben.
  • "Statues" sind die "Sculptures" (also Unterkategorie), die die Eigenschaft einer Standfigur haben.*** "Reliefs" und "Statues" können gleichzeitig auch Memorials sein

Fragen:

• "Reliefs" und "Statues" können gleichzeitig auch "Memorials" sein?
• Sind eigentlich "Statues" nur Personendarstellungen oder auch Tierdarstellungen?
• "Reliefs" sind immer aus Stein, oder auch aus Metall?
• "Reliefs" sind immer aus Stein, oder auch aus Metall?
• Category:Fountains in Wuppertal müsste auch nach Category:Sculptures in Wuppertal verschoben werden?

In category:Plaques in Wuppertal verbergen sich noch einige "Memorials", die kann ich noch umsortieren nach category:Memorials in Wuppertal, das Problem wäre aber, das es keine "Sculptures" (also Objekte) sind sondern nur einfache Gedenktafeln (Beispiel). Einfache Wandtafeln, die zur Erklärung dienen verbleiben in category:Plaques in Wuppertal.

Category:Sculptures in Wuppertal und category:Plaques in Wuppertal, also Kunstobjekte, Denkmale und Gedenktafeln sind ja eigentlich Kulturobjekte und passen ganz gut in der Kategorie Category:Culture in Wuppertal.

Hello Atamari, I noticed your changes and support the way you interlinked the categories under the umbrella of Category:Culture in Wuppertal. To answer you questions: 1. Memorials can represent objects in more then one category.

2. In my humble opinion statues represent the high and mighty (persons not animals, but of course persons on horseback are allowed). 3. I suppose that Reliefs were commonly made from stone, but with new techniques they can be created from other materials as well. 4. Fountains, yes well of course. In my hurry to satisfy your wishes I completely forgot them. I think the whole picture is now complete. Thanks for your suggestions and your friendly help.
